The last Pole reversal was 780,000 years ago and human beings have been around for approximately 200,000 years.  When speaking of climate changes and the approaching Earth changes we refer to the chaotic forces of Mother Nature.  With a recent rise in chaotic weather conditions, some have suggested that God may be punishing us for living contrary to Mother Nature.  Given that each dramatic chaotic event averages roughly between 10 to 30 minutes, nothing could be further from the truth.  While compressing all chaotic event times within a geographical region such as California, as though the events were taking place one after the other, given the span of the last 200,000 years, the compressed event time will only account for a few short years.  The last great California earthquake in 1906, took place in San Francisco and lasted a few minutes.  There have been several other mild earthquakes throughout the years but that was the last great earthquake.  Hence, the idea of a Mother Nature as a sheer chaotic force is brought more into perspective, as there are by far more mild temperate weather days than stormy weather days.

An average thunderstorm is 15 miles in diameter and lasts an average of 30 minutes and an average tornado is 20 minutes. At any given moment, there are roughly 2,000 thunderstorms in progress around the world and it is estimated that there are 100,000 thunderstorms in the United States each year. About 10% of these reach severe levels and only 1% will produce a tornado.

The average earthquake lasts approximately 5 to 10 minutes and while they are disastrous, the quantifiable odds from perishing from an earthquake are 1-in-131,890, according to the World Health Organization and National Safety Council.   Additional studies reveal the odds for dying during the following disasters:

Tornado:  1-in-60,000

Lightning Strike: 1-in-83,930

Earthquake: 1-in-131,890

Tsunami: 1-in-500,000

It is true that the approaching Earth Changes will bring dramatic chaotic events throughout the world.  Every year, an average of 1,200 tornadoes kill about 60 Americans, injure 1,500 people and cause more than $400 million in damage.  Within a span of fifty years, these figures will increase for all chaotic weather events pertaining to the Earth Changes.  Based on scientific findings and other research studies, for over the next thirty plus years, these events will appear randomly across the globe.

The Vast Healing Energy Potential Of The Human Body June 10, 2009

An individual who weighs 150 pounds contains approximately 6,810 grams of Hydrogen; 41,541 grams of Oxygen; 15,663 grams of Carbon; and 1,770 grams of Nitrogen.  Even though hydrogen has a 2:1 ratio in water H2O, the hydrogen weight in grams figure will be smaller than the oxygen figure because hydrogen weighs less than oxygen.  The following is a Bohr’s model of the hydrogen atom.

A hydrogen atom contains one proton and one electron.  This subatomic particle has a mass of 0.000 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 001 672 kg.  This is a tiny mass indeed.  But in everyday quantities of matter there are a lot of atoms.  For instance, in one kilogram of pure water, the mass of hydrogen atoms amounts to just slightly more than 111 grams, or 0.111 kg.

Einstein’s formula tells us the amount of energy this mass would be equivalent to, if it were all suddenly turned into energy.  It says that to find the energy, you multiply the mass by the square of the speed of light, this number being 300,000,000 meters per second (a very large number):

E = mc2
= 0.111 x 300,000,000 x 300,000,000
= 10,000,000,000,000,000 Joules

This is an incredible amount of energy!  A Joule is not a large unit of energy … one Joule is about the energy released when you drop a textbook to the floor.  But the amount of energy in 30 grams of hydrogen atoms is equivalent to burning hundreds of thousands of gallons of gasoline.  If you consider all the energy in the full kilogram of water (1 kilogram = 2.2046 pounds), which also contains oxygen atoms, the total energy equivalent is close to 10 million gallons of gasoline

While not all of the energy can be harnessed a good portion can be harnessed, with powerful intention and by aligning this intention, one can draw on this bio energy, to achieve many results.  Essentially, the body has the potential to become a focused beam of cohesive energy.  The body is comprised of over 140,000+ proteins that are nano lasers.  The human body is what is most remarkable, as it is made up of the same hydrogen and many of the same materials that stars are.  The body’s proteins can harness and utilize these energies because each protein can become a magnify glass, capable of transferring bio energy at a much faster rate.

Many feel that 2012 will be the end of the world as we know it.  One bit of comforting news is that Nostradamus’ last prophecy will not be fulfilled until the year 3797.    Nostradamus once wrote to his son Cesar that the Prophecies cover a time span from March 1, 1555, to 3797.   He wrote: “They would condemn that which future ages shall find and know to be true…(quatrains) are perpetual prophecies from this year to the year 3797, at which some perhaps will frown, seeing so large an extension of time…”  Please see the below video clip for more details.

In the book “The Holographic Universe“, author Michael Talbot reveals how the brain reviews and stores information through the use of advanced Fourier mathematical wave patterns.  Following next, is the BBC Documentary “The Human Face“, which coincides and is an extension of the Fourier language of wave forms.  In this documentary, Dr. Stephen R. Marquardt a Maxillofacial surgeon, reveals the Fourier mathematical wave forms associated with beauty, through the use of a specially designed “Facial Mask” graph that measures the ratios of facial beauty.  Mahzarin Banaji conducted an Implicit Association study at Harvard University and discovered subconscious associations that reveal unconscious prejudice against the elderly, gays, women, the obese, and a wide range of other groups.  This study follows Fourier mathematical wave form associations.  For the full Harvard University article on Mahzarin Banaji’s study and for an opportunity to take the Implicit Association test, please visit the web links at the end of this post.  The following is an interesting excerpt from pages 27-30 of “The Holographic Universe” by Michael Talbot, of how the brain analyzes and stores information.

The Mathematical Language of the Hologram

While the theories that enabled the development of the hologram were first formulated in 1947 by Dennis Garbor (who later won a Nobel Prize for his efforts), in the late 1960s and early 1970s Pribram’s theory recieved even more persuasive experimental support.  When Gabor first conceived the idea of holography he wasn’t thinking about lasers.  His goal was to improve the electron microscope, then a primitive and imperfect device.  His approach was a mathematical one, and the mathematics he used was a type of calculus invented by an eighteenth-century Frenchman named Jean B. J. Fourier.

Roughly speaking what Fourier developed was a mathematical way of converting any pattern, no matter how complex, into a language of simple waves.  He also showed how these wave forms could be converted back into the original pattern.  In other words, just as a television camera converts an image into electromagnetic frequencies and a television set converts those frequencies back into the original image, Fourier showed how a similar process could be achieved mathematically.  The equations he developed to convert images into wave forms and back again are known as Fourier transforms.

Fourier transforms enabled Gabor to convert a picture of an object into the blur of interference patterns on a piece of holographic film.  They also enabled him to devise a way of converting those interference patterns back into an image of the original object.  In fact the special whole in every part of hologram is one of the by-products that occurs when an image or pattern is translated into the Fourier language of wave forms.

Throughout the late 1960s and early 1970s various researchers contacted Pribram and told him they had uncovered evidence that the visual system worked as a kind of frequency analyzer.  Since frequency is a measure of the number of oscillations a wave undergoes per second, this strongly suggested that the brain might be functioning as a hologram does.

But it wasn’t until 1979 that Berkeley neurophysiologists Russell and Karen DeValois made the discovery that settled the matter.  Research in the 1960s had shown that each brain cell in the visual cortex is geared to respond to a different pattern – some brain cells fire when the eyes see a horizontal line, others fire when the eyes see a vertical line, and so on.  As a result, many researchers concluded that the brain takes input from these highly specialized cells called feature detectors, and somehow fits them together to provide us with our visual perceptions of the world.

Despite the popularity of this view, the DeValoises felt it was only a partial truth.  To test their assumption they used Fourier’s equations to convert plaid and checkerboard patterns into simple wave forms.  Then they tested to see how the brain cells in the visual cortex responded to these new wave-form images.  What they found was that the brain cells responded not to the original patterns, but to the Fourier translations of the patterns.  Only one conclusion could be drawn.  The brain was using Fourier mathematics – the same mathematics holography employed – to convert visual images into the Fourier language of wave forms.

The DeValoises’ discovery was subsequently confirmed by numerous other laboratories around the world, and although it did not provide absolute proof the brain was a hologram, it supplied enough evidence to convince Pribram his theory was correct.  Spurred on by the idea that the visual cortex was responding not to patterns but to the frequencies of various wave forms, he began to reassess the role frequency played in the other senses.

It didn’t take long for him to realize that the importance of this role had perhaps been overlooked by twentieth-century scientists.  Over a century before the DeValoises’ discovery, the German physiologist and physicist Hermann von Helmholtz had shown that the ear was a frequency analyzer.  More recent research revealed that our sense of smell seems to be based on what are called osmic frequencies.  Bekesy’s work had clearly demonstrated that our skin is sensitive to frequencies of vibration, and he even produced some evidence that taste may involve frequency analysis.  Interestingly, Bekesy also discovered that the mathematical equations that enabled him to predict how his subjects would respond to various frequencies of vibration were also of the Fourier genre.

But perhaps the most startling finding Pribram uncovered was Russian scientist Nikolai Bernstein’s discovery that even our physical movements may be encoded in our brains in a language of Fourier wave forms.  In the 1930s Bernstein dressed people in black leotards and painted white dots on their elbows, knees, and other joints.  Then he placed them against black backgrounds and took movies of them doing various physical activities such as dancing, walking, jumping, hammering, and typing.

When he developed the film, only the white dots appeared, moving up and down and across the screen in various complex and flowing movements.  To quantify his findings he Fourier-analyzed the various lines the dots traced out and converted them into a language of wave forms.  To his surprise, he discovered the wave forms contained hidden patterns that allowed him to predict his subjects’ next movement to within a fraction of an inch.

When Pribram encountered Bernstein’s work he immediately recognized its implications.  Maybe the reason hidden patterns surfaced after Bernstein Fourier-analyzed his subject’s movements was because that was how movements are stored in the brain.  This was an exciting possibility, for if the brain analyzed movements by breaking them down into their frequency components, it explained the rapidity with which we learn many complex physical tasks.  For instance, we do not learn to ride a bicycle by painstakingly memorizing every tiny feature of the process.  We learn by grasping the whole flowing movement.  The fluid wholeness that typifies how we learn so many physical activities is difficult to explain if our brains are storing information in a bit-by-bit manner.  But it becomes much easier to understand if the brain is Fourier-analyzing such tasks and absorbing them as a whole.  – End of Book Excerpt

“The imprint of culture is what we see in the subliminal exposure,” explains Mahzarin Banaji, Richard Clarke Cabot Professor of Social Ethics at Harvard University.  “Seeing the face consciously allows thoughts and feelings to generate a more reasoned response to the face in view.”  The research, done in collaboration with William Cunningham and Marcia Johnson at Yale University, suggests our conscious brain can lead us away from the prejudices of our unconscious mind.

“To the extent that we can influence what we learn and believe, we can influence less conscious states of mind,” Banaji notes. We can determine who we are and who we wish to be.

The idea of the hidden planet Nibiru was first introduced by Zecharia Sitchin in 1976, the controversial book is known as “The Twelfth Planet”. Sitchin had interpreted some ancient 6,000 year old Sumerian cuneiform texts (the earliest known form of writing) as a literal translation of the origin of humankind.

Since there were not a lot of Sumerian linguistic resources available during the 1970’s, mainly research specialists read the Sumerian language, but presently there are better quality translation resources available such as the 2006 book entitled “Sumerian Lexicon”.  Hence, many of Sitchin’s translations of both individual words and of larger portions of ancient texts have recently been found to be incorrect, based on recent ancient Sumerian linguistic reference materials.  The following is a recent video clip and the official web site link that features an overview of Zecharia Sitchin’s work.

The following information reveals the translation of the word Nibiru, which translates into the planet “Jupiter”.  Also, included are two articles pertaining to Planet X and Nibiru, which reveal that nothing will transpire in 2012, regarding the return of a mysterious planet beyond the local solar system.

The Sun’s 2012 Solar Cycle Will Not Destroy Earth’s Atmosphere May 24, 2009

In light of recent movies similar to “Knowing” which depict prophesized solar based catastrophic end time scenarios and in remembrance of past research studies pertaining to potentially high impact solar activity with the capability of disintegrating the Earth’s atmosphere, it is interesting to know that recent DNA evidence reveals that modern humans have been around for approximately 200,000 years.  Given this, if the atmosphere had been completely destroyed along with the ozone layer within the last 200,000 years, the Sun’s deadly ultraviolet radiation would have destroyed the DNA of every living creature and life would not exist in the same context that it does today.

Every 26,000 years there is a Galactic Center alignment, which is implied or said to be presently accountable for the possible increase of the new upcoming Sun’s 2012 solar cycle intensity.  Due to intense upcoming space storms, while there is a probable possibility of a few costly upsets in the power grid and in telecommunications, in general the outcome will not be severe followed by complete darkness with several years of rebuilding telecommunications and the overall power grid.  The following pertains to the Sun’s upcoming 2012 solar cycle and its possible impact.

The Sun is a magnetically active star.  It supports a strong, changing magnetic field that varies year-to-year and reverses direction about every eleven years around solar maximum, which is also known as the solar cycle.  The Sun’s magnetic field gives rise to many effects that are collectively called solar activity, including sunspots on the surface of the Sun, solar flares, coronal mass ejections, and variations in solar wind that carry material through the Solar System.  Effects of solar activity on Earth include auroras at moderate to high latitudes, and the disruption of radio communications and electric power.  Solar activity is thought to have played a large role in the formation and evolution of the Solar System.  Solar activity changes the structure of Earth’s outer atmosphere.  The following is an article excerpt of the method used to predict the strength of the upcoming solar cycle.

Scientists Gaze Inside Sun, Predict Strength of the Next Solar Cycle

The sun goes through a roughly 11-year cycle of activity, from stormy to quiet and back again. Predicting the sun’s cycles accurately years in advance will help societies plan for active bouts of solar storms, which can disrupt satellite orbits and electronics, interfere with radio communication, and damage power systems. The forecast is important for NASA’s long-term Vision for Space Exploration plans, since solar storms can be hazardous to unprotected astronauts as well.

Solar storms begin with tangled magnetic fields generated by the sun’s churning electrically charged gas (plasma). Like a rubber band that has been twisted too far, solar magnetic fields can suddenly snap to a new shape, releasing tremendous energy as a solar flare or a coronal mass ejection (CME).

Solar flares are explosions in the sun’s atmosphere, with the largest equal to billions of one-megaton nuclear bombs. Solar magnetic energy can also blast billions of tons of plasma into space at millions of miles (kilometers) per hour as a CME. This violent solar activity often occurs near sunspots, dark regions on the sun caused by concentrated magnetic fields. Sunspots and stormy solar weather follow the eleven-year cycle, from few sunspots and calm to many sunspots and active, and back again.

The next solar activity cycle will be 30 to 50 percent stronger than the previous one, and up to a year late in arriving, according to a breakthrough forecast by Dr. Mausumi Dikpati and colleagues at the National Center for Atmospheric Research (NCAR) in Boulder, Colo. The scientists made the first “solar climate” forecast using a combination of groundbreaking observations of the solar interior from space and computer simulation. NASA’s Living With a Star program and the National Science Foundation funded the research.

The key to predicting the solar activity cycle is an understanding of the flows of plasma in the sun’s interior.  Magnetic fields are “frozen” into the solar plasma, so plasma currents within the sun transport, concentrate, and help dissipate solar magnetic fields.  “We understood these flows in a general way, but the details were unclear, so we could not use them to make predictions before,” said Dikpati, who published a paper on this research in the on-line version of Geophysical Review Letters March 3.

The new technique of “helioseismology” revealed these details by allowing researchers to see inside the sun. Helioseismology traces sound waves reverberating inside the sun to build up a picture of the interior, similar to the way an ultrasound scan is used to create a picture of an unborn baby.  – End of Article Excerpt

In March 1989, a solar storm much less intense than the perfect space storm of 1859 caused the Hydro-Quebec (Canada) power grid to go down for over nine hours, and the resulting damages and loss in revenue were estimated to be in the hundreds of millions of dollars.  After 1989, Hydro-Quebec spent $1.2 billion on capacitors to prevent potential space weather disruptions… One recent estimate suggested that the use of good forecasts by the power industry could save the U.S. $365 million per year, average over the solar cycle.

Space weather can affect transportation, traffic signals, and the availability of fresh water because the electrical power grid that we rely on to run the motors and water pumps is, itself, subject to failure during severe solar storm events.   Also, currently, there are 936 operating satellites in space with a replacement cost of $200+ billion.  The telecommunications industry relies on them to generate $250+ billion in profits each year. Virtually every class of operating satellite has demonstrated a vulnerability to space weather storms.  Most are minor, but many involve consequences leading to satellite damage or failure.  The following excerpt is from Space Weather, which provides a detailed overview of Geomagnetically Induced Currents (GICs) that are generated through space weather disturbances.  These GICs are the main culprit behind power failures during intense solar cycle activity.

11-Year Solar Cycle GICs That Induce Power Failures

Electrical power blackouts cost the US about $80 billion every year in lost services, industrial capacity and Gross Domestic Product.  When space weather disturbances cause ‘Geomagnetically Induced Currents’ , these GICs can enter a transformer through its Earth ground connection.  The added DC current to the transformer causes the relationship between the AC voltage and current to change at the source of the electricity, not just where it is delivered to your electrical appliance.  Because of the way that GIC currents affect the transformer, it only takes a hundred amperes of GIC current or less to cause a transformer to overload during one-half of its 60-cycle operation.  As the transformer switches 60 times a second between being saturated and unsaturated, the normal hum of a transformer becomes a raucous, crackling whine.  Regions of opposed magnetism as big as your fist in the core steel plates crash about and vibrate the 100-ton transformer nearly as big as a house in a process that physicists call magnetostriction.

The impact that magnetostriction has upon specific transformers is that it generates hot spots inside the transformer where temperatures can increase very rapidly to hundreds of degrees in only a few minutes.  Temperature spikes like these can persist for the duration of the magnetic storm which, itself, can last for hours at a time.  During the March 1989 storm, a transformer at a nuclear plant in New Jersey was damaged beyond repair as its insulation gave way after years of cumulative GIC damage.  Allegheny Power happened to be monitoring a transformer that they knew to be flaky. When the next geomagnetic storm hit in 1992.  They saw the transformer reply in minutes, and send temperatures in part of its tank to more than 340 F (171 C). Other transformers have spiked fevers as high as 750 F (400 C). Insulation damage is a cumulative process over the course of many GICs, and it is easy to see how cumulative solar storm and geomagnetic effects were overlooked in the past.

Outright transformer failures are much more frequent in geographic regions where GICs are common.   The Northeastern US with the highest rate of detected geomagnetic activity led the pack with 60% more failures.  Not only that, but the average working lifetimes of transformers is also shorter in regions with greater geomagnetic storm activity.  The rise and fall of these transformer failures even follows a solar activity pattern of roughly 11 years.

A conservative estimate of the damage done by GICs to transformers by Minnesota Power and Electric was $100 million during a solar-maximum period. This includes the replacement of damaged transformers, and the impact of shortened operating lifetimes due to GIC activity.

Large transformers cost $10 million, and can require a year or more to replace if spares are not available. During a transformer failure, an affected utility company will have to purchase replacement power from other utilities for as much as $400,000 per day or more.  Oak Ridge National Laboratories, meanwhile, estimated that a solar storm event only slightly stronger than the one that caused the Quebec blackout in 1989 would have involved the Northeast United States in a cascading blackout.  The experts figured that about $6 billion in damages and lost wages would have resulted from such a widespread involvement.  The North American Electric Reliability Council (NAERC) placed the March 1989 and October 1991 storm events in a category equivalent to Hurricane Hugo or the 1989 Loma Prieta Earthquake in San Francisco.  But, many consultants for the power industry dispute NAERC’s estimate saying that it is much too low.  The $6 billion may not properly include collateral impacts such as lost wages and productivity, spoiled food and a myriad of other human costs that could easily run the losses into the tens of billions of dollars.” – End of Excerpt

Solar flares while intense contain multiple variations of energy intensity within the fully expressed solar flare or coronal mass ejection discharge.  The sun itself can hold 332,900 times Earth’s mass and during the maximum in the Sun’s 11-year solar cycle, the quantity of solar material release is phenomenal and typically envelopes a fair portion of the Earth.  However, due to the Earth’s electromagnetic field and atmosphere, the inbound solar waves are shifted away from full direct impact.  Thus, not all satellites could be rendered inoperable, as solar energy is spread out across the electromagnetic field.

When space weather disturbances cause ‘Geomagnetically Induced Currents’, through its Earth ground connection, these GICs can enter and disable a power transformer.  Thus, due to the nature of GICs, during any 11-year solar cycle maximum, power and telecommunication disruptions will appear in random locations throughout the globe. However, these solar weather based GICs will never simultaneously disrupt the entire world’s power based resources.

No Pole Shift for 2012 May 22, 2009

Every 26,000 years there is a Galactic Center Alignment, which has occurred for over 4.5 billion years, roughly the age of the Earth and our revolving solar system.  The last geomagnetic reversal also known as the Brunhes-Matuyama reversal occurred approximately 780,000 years ago.  What is interesting is that the duration of an average magnetic reversal is roughly 1,200 to 10,000 years, not vary dramatic or globally catastrophic, as this event is not sudden but rather lengthy in duration.  The following article excerpts and video clips reveal more information about Pole Shifts and Geomagnetic Reversals.

The Pole Shift Hypothesis and Geomagnetic Reversal

The pole shift hypothesis is the hypothesis that the axis of rotation of a planet has not always been at its present-day locations or that the axis will not persist there; in other words, that its physical poles had been or will be shifted.  A geomagnetic reversal is a change in the orientation of Earth’s magnetic field such that the positions of magnetic north and magnetic south become interchanged. These events often involve an extended decline in field strength followed by a rapid recovery after the new orientation has been established. These events occur on a scale of thousands of years or longer.

The Brunhes-Matuyama Reversal was the last geomagnetic reversal event, which was approximately 780,000 years ago, when the Earth’s magnetic field last underwent reversal. The reversal occurred over several thousand years. The apparent duration at any particular location varied from 1,200 to 10,000 years depending on geomagnetic latitude and local effects of non-dipole components of the Earth’s field during the transition.  The event is useful in dating ocean sediment cores and subaerially erupted volcanics.  This last geomagnetic reversal is named after Bernard Brunhes and Motonori Matuyama.

NASA – Earth’s Inconstant Magnetic Field

Sometimes the Earth’s magnetic field completely flips. The north and the south poles swap places. Such reversals, recorded in the magnetism of ancient rocks, are unpredictable. They come at irregular intervals averaging about 300,000 years; the last Brunhes-Matuyama reversal was 780,000 years ago. Are we overdue for another? No one really knows for sure.  Magnetic stripes around mid-ocean ridges reveal the history of Earth’s magnetic field for millions of years. The study of Earth’s past magnetism is called paleomagnetism. Reversals take a few thousand years to complete, and during that time–contrary to popular belief–the magnetic field does not vanish. “It just gets more complicated,” says University of California professor Gary Glatzmaier. Magnetic lines of force near Earth’s surface become twisted and tangled, and magnetic poles pop up in unaccustomed places. A south magnetic pole might emerge over Africa, for instance, or a north pole over Tahiti. Weird. But it’s still a planetary magnetic field, and it still protects us from space radiation and solar storms.
